“The Rocky Mountain Region of Porsche Club of America is a large, active region with over 1,200 members, and we schedule events throughout the year which are attended by hundreds of members. Our event registrations run in the many thousands of dollars. Keeping track of it was a big job for our volunteers. MotorsportReg.com has been a great business partner for Rocky Mountain Region. They are very responsive to our questions, provides quick help setting up PCA registration requirements for our many events, and provides thorough training to our volunteers.
Our treasurer can download detailed financial reports by event, deposit and customer information. Deposits are made regularly, and notices are sent automatically to the treasurer. Since the club no longer manually runs credit card payments through our bank, we no longer have a security liability with credit card payment being through MotorsportReg.com using their secure system. We do not mess with PayPal or any banking service company like some other online systems, and this saves us money and hassle. Moreover, the time consuming recording and depositing of registration checks has all but been eliminated. The MotorsportReg.com system is more secure, less labor intensive and provides a audit trail that keeps our treasurer happy.
With the open but secure database, volunteers can access the event information when it is convenient for them, and they easily download reports and can even customize reports for the Club’s needs. We can download car numbers, drivers, and classes into our computer timing system for time trials and autocrosses. When events sell out, the automatic waiting list feature queues up members to fill cancellations.”
